Before You Open A Provider Guide
Have these ready:- The carrier’s SIP registrar or connection URI
- Authentication details or source IPs
- The phone numbers you want to import in E.164 format
- A target agent already configured for routing
General Tips For Any SIP Provider
- Use E.164 format for all phone numbers (
+43720123456, not0720123456) - Test with one number first before importing all numbers
- Check firewall rules so the provider can reach the itellicoAI SIP endpoint
- Monitor call quality because SIP routing adds network hops that can affect latency
- Keep credentials secure and store secrets in Secrets where possible
If your provider is not listed here, the general SIP Trunks guide covers the universal setup pattern: create a trunk, enter credentials, import numbers, and configure forwarding.
